Our Heritage

At the heart of our village you will find the new Moruleng Cultural Precinct, referred to by locals as Sediba sa Ngwao, or Well of Heritage, where a wealth of history and culture awaits you. The Moruleng Cultural Precinct offers visitors many hours of interest and fun. The innovative Mphebatho Museum is our flagship visitor attraction, but we hope that you will also take the time to explore the rest of the precinct: the newly restored Dutch Reformed Mission Church, a landscape of iron-age settlement patterns, an open air theatre, a bell tower viewing deck, a craft shop and our very own coffee shop. Lose yourself for a few hours. Tour guides await. There are also self-guided Audioguide available in 5 languages:
